SMACNA is a professional association that offers more than 2,300 sheet metal and air-conditioning contractor members with assistance in areas ranging from business management, laborer relations, marketing, governmental affairs, to technical research and development - on both a national and local level. SMACNA has members in Canada, Australia, England, South America, Japan and New Zealand besides its more than one hundred chapters throughout the United States. The Association is contractor-driven. A Board of Directors, elected from the contractor membership, serves as the policy-making body of the Association. SMACNA's successes and strengths rest with the involvement of every contractor member. Approximately 250 members actively participate on national committees. Members are also active in their local SMACNA chapter activities. Dedication to professional excellence keeps SMACNA and its members leading in the construction industry today. |
